Sorter V2 ships as a kit. All components are pre-machined and labeled for a straightforward assembly experience.

What does calibration look like and how long does it take?
Calibration gets Sorter used to the lighting / environment of your space. It aligns all components to begin properly sorting your LEGO pieces.

Mac or PC; Windows, MacOS, Linux are all fully supported.
How accurate is it (% by piece type)?
Our testing demonstrated 99% accuracy across all LEGO piece types.
How fast does it sort (pieces per hour)?
Approximately 360 pieces per hour under normal operating conditions.
What LEGO piece types does it not handle?
Pieces larger than a LEGO 6x8 plate are outside the supported range.
What happens when it misidentifies a piece?
It will get sent through the bin system. As an outlier, it should be easy to spot.
How many bins/categories can it sort into simultaneously?
As many as your setup supports. Additional layers expand bin capacity with no software limit.
What is the expected lifespan?
5 years under normal operating conditions.
